Shows are up and running!

So, we all have been busy, but we need to make an effort to get out there and support the shows--if you don't go, they won't show.

On Sunday, the Frankensteiners are hosing another show at Broadway Pizza in Elk River. A little mayhem may ensue, but they have the sickest rods on this side of the Snake River.

Your muscle car, hot rod, or cruiser can get in for $5 and guest admission is free. Try to make it.

Last, but not least, old trucks are cool.

Update

As you can see from the link to the poster above, we have finalized the pricing for our show this year.

If you are bringing a vehicle to show, that machine will cost you $10. If you are coming to see these prized machines, you will be able to get in for free, but the suggested donation will be $5 for each adult.

We would like you to come and see what we have to offer, and if you feel like you want to donate to the scholarship fund, please give what you can.

Also, the events are being added fast and furiously. The number of new shows seem to be outweighing the number of old shows going away.

Get out there and see something!

Craigslist is now your best friend

For more current writing projects of mine please visit scifiparenting.blogspot.com and read my column (Downshifting) in Rat Rod Magazine--thanks!

I'm sure you have done it, too. Trying to find the part you can't seem to remember where you put, or searching for that 1:24 model you need to complete your collection.

Well, things just got a whole lot easier. If you want to search all of Craigslist at the same time--not just one city at a time--then go to the following site:

Enjoy!

Projects Galore

If you are sitting and looking at your current project and can find nothing else to do to it, head on over to http://www.restorablecars.com/

This old car dealer in South Dakota has been around for a long time, but, like many other things, will be done selling at the end of the season. They have hundreds of 99% rust-free cars and trucks for your picking. Most are less than $1,000.

Check them out, and let me know what you think.

The Events have been Updated

If you have read earlier posts, you will know that several shows in the area are going away and changing.

I put up what shows are still running this summer. I will try to find out about a few I am still unsure about.

How about this old International R-120--I think the only color they offered them in was green.
